It encompasses a wide range of applications, from the discovery and development of new drugs, vaccines, and other medical products to biotechnological methods. In simple words, we have to say that it has been revolutionising the pharmaceutical industry and has given a novel stream of biopharmaceuticals. It offers new and innovative treatments for a wide range of diseases. Pharmaceutical biotechnologists in the pharma industry are involved in several important roles in drug discovery, development, preclinical and clinical research activities, regulatory practices and so on. There is a global demand existing and keeps on increasing for pharmaceutical biotechnologists.
