Toxicology is a critical sub-discipline within the field of life sciences that deals with the study of harmful effects of chemical, physical or biological substances on living organisms. It is an ever-growing field with immense importance and hence contains diverse career opportunities in academia, government and industrial sectors.
Toxicology plays an essential role in the research and development (R&D) of new drugs, chemicals, and other products. The career opportunities in toxicology have high demands for skilled professionals and with the accelerated growth of newer technology fields, the demand for skilled toxicologists is expected to continue to grow in the future too.
Our pre-industrial internship is basically aimed at helping academic learners to get in touch with the industrial point of application of their subject.
